Used Labtech Engineering Laboratory And Pilot Scale Blown Film Extrusion Line With 25 mm Single Screw Extruder And 350 mm Maximum Film Width. Complete small-scale blown film processing system designed for laboratory testing, research and development, material evaluation and production of compatible plastic films. Line consists of (1) Labtech Model LE25-30C single screw extruder equipped with a 25 mm diameter screw and 30:1 length-to-diameter (L/D) ratio. Extruder features an electrically heated, air-cooled barrel and a maximum screw speed of 300 RPM, driven through a gearbox by an approximately 4 kW motor operating on 400 volts, 3-phase, 50 Hz electrical service. Includes operator control panel and mobile frame with wheels. Extruder manufactured in 2008. System includes (1) blown film extrusion die head and (1) Labtech Model LF 400 downstream film winding unit with a maximum film width of 350 mm (approximately 13-3/4"). Downstream unit is mounted on wheels and manufactured in 2014. Includes feeding equipment, connecting piping and additional supporting infrastructure. Previously used by a masterbatch manufacturer for research and development applications. Possible applications include laboratory blown film extrusion, polymer formulation testing, masterbatch evaluation, pigment dispersion studies, film development, resin processing trials and production of compatible polyethylene, polypropylene and other suitable thermoplastic blown film materials.
