Used Heinkel HF300 Hastelloy C4 Inverting Filter Centrifuge. Type HF300, Serial #1028/12. Designed for solid-liquid separation using a filter medium that retains solids during centrifugation, followed by inversion of the filter cloth for discharge of the dewatered product. Bowl is driven by a 7.5 HP hydraulic motor and operates at approximately 3,460 rpm, producing up to 1,500 x g centrifugal force. Bowl diameter is approximately 11.81" with approximately 1.07 square feet of filter area and approximately 1.7 gallon product capacity. Overall dimensions are approximately 80" long x 36.5" wide x 42" high. Electrical requirements: 460V, 3-phase. Shipping weight approximately 5,000 lb. Unit appears to have seen little or no operation, although operating history cannot be confirmed. Possible applications include dewatering, filtration and solids separation of compatible pharmaceutical, fine chemical, specialty chemical and other process products requiring contained batch centrifugation.
