Used- Davis Standard / Xaloy 6" pelletizing line consisting of: One (1) Davis Standard 6" model 60IN60TPTH extruder having a 34:1 L/D ratio barrel with a seven (7) zone electrically, heated, water cooled (closed loop), and vented barrel at a 42" centerline. Part Number 0022356-1-1. 8" x 12" on center feed throat. Oversized (8") Gearbox is direct driven in a wraparound manner by a 500 HP Reliance Super RPM 1150/1680 RPM D/C motor with Siemens Simoreg Microprocessor SCR control mounted in a stand-alone enclosure. Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 11.304:1 and is rated at 1050 HP at a service factor of 1.5. Liquid cooling system with heat exchanger for gearbox protection. Stand-alone control panel with sixteen (16) zones of Barber Coleman model 2408 digital controllers. Manufactured 9/2011. Gearbox completely rebuilt by Texas Extrusion Services 4/2022. 460/3/60. Drive 794 amps. Temp panel 400 amps. Reportedly barrier screw installed. Xaloy model EH-80SH hydraulic slide plate screen changer having two (2) nominal 8? diameter breaker plates.
