Used- 1-pass MVR falling film vacuum evaporator. This EPCON evaporator was designed to concentrate whey products from 5% to an impressive 20% total solids in just one pass. This falling film evaporator plant operates seamlessly with a Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) unit, which utilizes electricity to recompress evaporated water, transforming it into reusable steam. The water evaporation capacity ranges between 4,000 and 4,200 kg/hour, dependent on product parameters and boiling temperature. Equipped with 745 pipes measuring ?38 x 6 meters, in addition to the MVR characteristic and boiling temperature considerations, this EPCON evaporator boasts an impressive water evaporation capacity of approximately 4,200 kg/hour. For your convenience, the complete EPCON unit will be delivered with its original technical documentation. The installation footprint measures around 8 x 8 meters, standing at approximately 8 meters in height. This versatile EPCON evaporator has the potential for a redesign/rebuild into a 2-pass evaporator, amplifying water evaporation capacity by approximately 25%. All process components are 304SS, fabricated to comply with 3A Sanitary Standards,,suitable for any human grade food products. Product being Concentrated-Sweet Whey from the production of Swiss Cheese Evaporator Duty:-Concentrate 30,000 lb/hr of sweet whey from 5.5%TS to 49.8%TS while removing water at a rate of 26,687 lb/hr.-Flash Cool the 49.8%TS concentrate to 900F, while further concentrating to 52%TS and removing an additional 140 lb/hr of water. Operating Temperatures & Pressures: Evaporator vessels designed for full vacuum, allowing for boiling the product at ~1450F. Jacket rated for a working pressure 7.5 PSI (0.5 bar) and full vacuum (-1). Test pressure 19.5 PSI (1.3 bar) at 212 deg F (100 deg C). Pipes are rated for 15 PSI (1 bar). Pipe test pressure 45 psi (3 bar). Incl. (1) Alfa Laval M3-FM plate heat exchanger, (1) Sandpiper pump, piping and additional infrastructure. Mounted inside stainless steel frame. Serial # 5282. Previous used in a technical R&D lab on a university.

Internal rated Full Vacuum at 365 degrees F., jacket rated approximately 150 psi at 365 degrees F. 3 Star type L rotor, redial separator, conical bottom with 2" diameter discharge, 12" diameter vapor outlet, mechanical seal. Missing support ring. Driven by a 7.5hp belt drive 3/60/230-460 volt, 1720 rpm motor.

Used- ANHYDRO 2-step falling film vacuum evaporator for juice and beverage applications This evaporator unit is manufactured in AISI 316 acid proof stainless steel. It has two calendria with each 30 pipes x 6.000 x ?51 mm. The total heating transfer area is thus around 58 sqm. This evaporator was in operation with direct steam for concentrating 1.250 kg/hour orange juice from 9 % DS to 40 % DS, hereby evaporating around 1.000 kg water per hour. The steam consumption was around 425 kg/hour at 1,5 Bar. If a thermo compressor is introduced, the steam consumption would be only around 185 kg/hour at 6,5 Bar. This evaporator unit has now been dismantled and is in our stock. All equipment is in excellent condition and comes with the original technical documentation. The electric panel is new from 2016.
