Aaron Equipment Company Announces It will be Moving Operations in July 2019

In June 2017, The Illinois Tollway purchased the current site of Aaron Equipment Company by eminent domain to complete the final leg of the Elgin O’Hare Expressway.

Aaron Equipment will be moving its Sales and Office Operations to a 12,300 sq. ft. office complex at 201 Hansen Court, Suite 125, Wood Dale, IL 60191 in July of 2019. This new site is within the same proximity to O’Hare International Airport as the old site. All phone, fax, direct lines, cell numbers, and email addresses will remain the same.

Aaron has also purchased a 105,000 sq. ft. crane building in Belvidere, IL. This site is 45 minutes from Aaron’s current location. The new facility will house our inventory, repair and inspection operations. Aaron has additional land that it has leased in Coal City, IL for outdoor inventory.

“The effort to move and transport our existing inventory is quite expensive and labor intensive. Rather than make that investment, we would rather offer our customers a unique opportunity to save on our high-quality inventory”, said Michael Cohen, Vice President of Aaron Equipment.

To offset the cost of moving the equipment to the new locations, Aaron is passing on the savings to you. Discounted pricing is in place in order to clear out our Bensenville, Illinois property.

July 19, 2019 Official Move Day for Aaron Equipment Company!

On July 19, 2019, Aaron Equipment Company celebrated the opening of their new office operations in Wood Dale, Illinois with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the employees. KC Christensen presided over the event and gave an inspirational speech that summarized the history of the company and its many accomplishments.

KC spoke of the growth of Aaron during the past 85 years which included the previous moves the company had made and why. He also praised current owners Alan Cohen, Michael Cohen, and Bennett Cohen for their efforts to keep the company in close proximity for the benefit of their employees. He also touched base on the multitude of complex decisions that they endured to make the move successful. In June 2017, The Illinois Tollway purchased the current site of Aaron in Bensenville by eminent domain to complete the final leg of the Elgin O’Hare Expressway.

The Cohen’s participated in the ribbon cutting in front of the entrance to the new building where family and employees had gathered. Then everyone was invited to take a tour of the new offices which had already been outfitted with all new furniture. The open concept layout of the new space gives off a totally different vibe to the atmosphere.

“Change is inevitable, but this move is more of a reinvention of the company”, remarked Alan Cohen.
