Jar Mills
Member of Process Equipment Manufacturers Association
The Paul O. Abbé Ceramic Jar Mill is used for grinding and/or dispersing a wide variety of materials and can be used in conjunction with alumina or silica media. These mills are especially suited for the manufacture of tantalum, dental ceramics, electrical potting resins, specialty ceramics and any other applications where ease of cleaning and the absence of cement or mortar are valued.
Paul O. Abbé's new design offers several advantages over earlier Jar Mill designs. The unique lock-down arrangement for the grinding cover ensures equal pressure on the outside diameter of the cover and gasket. Discharge covers are made of stainless steel in order to avoid any iron contamination of your product. The one-piece Jar Mill Cylinders are formed precisely for fit-up to the heavy-duty cast heads and machined shafts which are aligned with adjustable tie rods.
This design offers long life, simple operation, low maintenance and consistent results... at an affordable price... with improved design and construction.
