Aaron Equipment and AEK Set the Standard at PACK EXPO International

Aaron Equipment Company and Aaron Kendell Packaging Equipment (AEK) recently exhibited at PACK EXPO International on November 6-9, 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The show was sold out with more than 2,000 exhibitors and 55,000 attendees who had the opportunity to check out new and innovative packaging solutions from a wide variety of industries.


“The atmosphere was absolutely electric!” said John Doyle, AEK’s spokesperson. “I don’t know if it was because it fell on the heels of the Chicago Cub’s winning of the World Series right in our backyard just days before or because our booth was just so amazing. The booth may not have been the biggest, but to put it into baseball terms…it sure delivered a grand slam.”


The booth was set up with three distinct sections which allowed visitors a choice of what they wanted to do. The center section served as a reception desk where visitors were greeted by AEK’s Sales Staff. To the right of that was a conference table and chairs which gave visitors the opportunity to get a little more in-depth and granular into their specific needs. The third section displayed the “Aaron Chopper” that was made for the company by the TV show American Chopper.


“The whole booth glowed with our messaging which couldn’t have been clearer in that ‘We Buy and Sell Used Packaging Equipment’’’, said Doyle. “The backlit displays seemed more like bill boards and people were straining to get a peek at what was going on in our booth.”

The motorcycle was definitely a draw and our team did a great job of explaining how processing and packaging elements were incorporated into the design of the bike. Then visitors were transitioned into our business side where we were able to explain exactly how AEK could be a benefit to their company.


“Every aspect of our display was right on point, gushed Doyle. “The Sales Team worked hand-in-hand with each other to make sure that every customer was given the proper solution to their needs. Quotes were even generated and emailed to customers right on the spot. The Buying Team worked the show and came back with multiple buy opportunities that they are acting on. The Marketing Department made some great decisions…from the lighted backdrops…from the arrangement of the layout …to the white carpeting. Everything screamed that doing business with AEK would result in a favorable outcome. I am so proud that I had a chance to be a part of this experience and that our team all worked together to make it happen.”
