by AaronEquipmentCo3. March 2011 14:22Casein Plant, Plastics Equipment, Toner Equipment and Wheel Loader All Bring in Top Bids Chicago, IL – March 7, 2011 – March rolled in like a proud lion at the Aaron Industrial Marketplace (AIM), with all four of its late February process equipment auctions garnering positive results. Over the course of two days, February 23 and 24, 2011, the quartet of casein plant, plastics equipment, toner equipment and Komatsu wheel loader auctions successfully closed after a buying frenzy that company management describes as “spirited bidding.” Setting the stage for the quadruple triumphs was the Komatsu wheel loader auction. When bidding on this heavy equipment bucket loader, which was conducted in conjunction with Return on Investment Auction services of Minnesota, wrapped up on February 23, 2011, the reserve price was easily met. February’s extreme weather conditions in the Midwest contributed to this successful close, with the winning bidder planning to put the machine to work on snow removal. That same day, the Aaron Industrial Marketplace scored a second bidding coup with its toner (pulverized) manufacturing equipment auction. This sale consisted of 100 lots located in two different locations. Before its successful completion, it drew in 34 registered bidders from the U.S. and abroad, with the ultimate winners hailing from four different countries. This achievement elevated AIM in its goal toward becoming an international process equipment auction presence. Aaron Industrial Marketplace management barely had time to celebrate these sales victories before two more auctions upped the company’s batting average. Just one day later, AIM ended bidding on a plastics related equipment auction and a complete casein plant auction. Fifty-eight lots made up the former sale, including cast film line, major components for a profile line, extruders, granulators, pelletizers, mixers, blenders, sizing tanks, pullers, winders, hammer mills, dryers, compressors and more. It was the second plastics-related AIM auction of its kind, with 65 bidders competing for its items and both the number of lots sold and the ending dollar amounts exceeding projections. The outcome was so favorable in fact that the Aaron Industrial Marketplace will hold another plastics auction in July 2011. Sharing the day’s spotlight was the complete casein plant auction. AIM spokesperson, Bruce Baird, explains, “We are currently in negations on the sale of this plant, with several active bidders taking extreme interest in its components.” Of the four auctions as a whole, he adds, “We are pleased with the results and see strong values for the rest of the year. Process equipment seekers who like to get in on the next round of bidding on new, used and reconditioned items can learn more about the Aaron Industrial Marketplace online at http://www.AaronIndustrialMarketplace.com.
