Angie Perna Retires After 35 Years at Aaron

On January 16, 2014, Angie Perna was honored with a retirement party celebrating her 35 years of employment at Aaron Equipment Company. The entire company gathered for a luncheon in her honor. Even the company’s patriarchs, Les and Jerry Cohen along with their wives Sarell and Shirley, enjoyed the party via Skype projected onto a large screen. Angie was given accolades for her many years of service and friendship with the entire Cohen family. Alan, Michael, Bennett, Steven Cohen and Debbie Cohen Oberman all gave speeches congratulating Angie for her work ethics both in and out of the office. [More]

Aaron Equipment Company Newly Painted Shop Floor Looking Good

The Shop Maintenance Engineers at Aaron Equipment spent some time over the Holiday Break making the floors sparkle. Approximately 22,000 square feet of floor was painted with an industrial gray paint making the shop look clean and crisp. Although the shop now looks more like a showroom… it was not an easy task. Every piece of equipment on the Shop floor had to be physically moved, so that the floor could be swept and cleaned. It was then painted and left to dry. Then the equipment was moved back to its original location and the crew moved on to the next area. [More]

As the year comes to an end, Aaron Equipment Company is looking back on the past twelve months of its auction platform. That scrutiny of the Aaron Auction arm of the organization, which specializes in asset liquidation of new and used process and packaging equipment, has resulted in much cause for celebration. That’s because the bidding and selling side of the business has proven a resounding success in 2013. Aaron Auctions, which began three years ago as an offshoot of Aaron Equipment Company, has since grown into a full-fledged operation in its own right. Jonathan Goldstein Helps DePaul University Golf Team Earn Academic Recognition

Aaron Equipment Company would like to congratulate Jonathan Goldstein on his accomplishments during his freshman year on DePaul University Men’s Golf Team.

The DePaul golf team was recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of American for having a cumulative team GPA above a 3.5. The Blue Demons recorded a team GPA of 3.724 for the 2012-13 season and are the only program from the BIG EAST Conference to receive the President's Special Recognition. [More]
