After the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast of the United States, communities in the northern suburbs of Illinois joined forces to donate batteries, blankets, cleaning supplies, coats, clothes, diapers, and shoes to the victims of the disaster. All supplies were donated by the families of Temple Beth-El in Northbrook, IL and Temple Jeremiah in Northfield, IL.
