Corona-Plus Systems add value to flexible packaging by the promotion of improved adhesion characteristics, utilizing electrical surfce treatment on a wide range of polymer films and metallized foils. Plastic has long, homogeneous molecular chains that form a strong and uniform product. In order to be able to print, coat or laminate the surface energy of the plastic needs to be appreciable higher than that of the ink or glue. The electrical Corona-Plus discharge is the most suitable treatment method for plastic films, cables and tubes. The Corona discharge is easy to control, requires little maintenance and is inexpensive to operate.
