USED:CE Raymond #73412 roller mill directly driven by a 350 hp3/60/4160V 585 rpm motor. Unit is equipped with a gear housingassembly with gear and intermediate shaft, horizontal shaft assemblywith pinion, external oil lubrication system, vertical shaft, millbottom assembly with oil reservoir, spider assembly with caps, plowsupport assembly with (4) four plow bodies and (4) plow tips, (4)four oil journal assemblies each with grinding roll, mill base withport liners and grinding ring, mill side and system fan directlydriven by a 150 hp 3/60/4000V 1175 rpm motor. Less mill base airhousing assembly, less dual feeder assemblies and less whizzerseparator assembly. Built in 1951. Unit has low operating hours andis in excellent condition.

Product Details

Raymond® Roller Mill is an airswept vertical ring-roll mill with an integral classification system that simultaneously dries, pulverizes and classifies clays, minerals and manufactured materials that are 5 or less on the Mohs scale. From a feed ranging in size from approximately 10-40mm (½" to 1½"), the roller mill can produce particles ranging from coarse, granular products of approximately 10%R2000 micron (90% minus 10 mesh) to as fine as 0.002%R44 micron (99.998% minus 325 mesh).
Raymond® Roller Mill system is the ideal solution for size reduction applications requiring pulverizing of soft to medium hard materials. Ideal applications include various clays such as fire clay, bentonite and kaolin as well as other minerals like barytes, gypsum, limestone, hydrated lime, phosphate rock, talc and coal. Manufactured materials such as pigments, phenolic resins or similar materials can also be processed in a roller mill system.
